SFG Morgans have excelled in the show ring, as breeding horses, and with families to enjoy on the trail, 4-H projects, and therapy work.

We love the breed, and have specialized in breeding the "Lippitt Morgan Horse" because they are still ancient type and style, and the "Colorful Morgan Horse" because of the beauty and elegance.

Blue Spruce Gifton is a superb, 12 year old, pure Lippitt bred Morgan stallion.

We are very thankful to be able to use him on our mares at our farm this year.  He is a very handsome and correct stud, showing true Morgan type and style. 

His disposition is wonderful.  Gifton is a great ambassador for the Morgan manners and wonderful spirit in a stallion.  His foals have been

easy to train, very smart, and quite handsome!

We have admired and loved this stallion for years and thank the Fogel family at Heathermoor Farm in Edon, OH for this opportunity.

The family of Lippitts is a pure line of Morgans that has lasted ever since the first generation of Morgan Horses--- and Justin Morgan(Figure) himself---the founding stallion of the Morgan breed.

Within the Lippitt family are more lines that have strived to maintain purity.  Blue Spruce Gifton is from a family called the Moro Hills line and he has these related horses in his pedigree.

This line of Lippitts comes from the midwest and was bred for many years from one farm, and continues in small breeding programs now.

We think it is very special!
