Sire for Sunshine Farm and Garden
This 1998 palomino Morgan stallion makes his home at Sunshine Farm and Garden in Michigan.
'Tio' was purchased as a weanling colt from Jennifer Monroe at MEMC Morgans in TX. He has matured into a wonderful example of a Morgan stallion. His strong pedigree makes him a perfect compliment to mares of different family lines within the Morgan breed. He has correct conformation, great feet and bone, beautiful head with expressive, large eyes and tiny ears, true Morgan type and personality plus. His color is near perfect gold with metallic highlights and a pure white, very long and luscious mane and tail. This stallion sports a long neck set on high and a very strong hindquarter. He can really pop his knees and has an excellent cantor. He stands a solid 15-1hh, barefoot. He has a connected star, strip and snip and two hind socks.
His breeding career started at 2 years of age and he has since sired three palominos, a creme, a chestnut and a bay. The foals all share his good qualities and we are very happy with each one of them!
This stallion loves to show off for visitors! He is really a ham. He throws his head and tail up in the air and trots up a storm.

'Cecil' was bred by us at Sunshine Farm and Garden in Michigan.
This 1999 palomino stallion has a wonderful presence about him. He is maturing into a very typey and correct stallion who has the looks and talent to take him a long way in the Morgan world. He has a solid pedigree and should cross well with many of our mares. With his dappled golden coat, very long white and silver mane and tail, correct conformation, thick neck, beautiful head with very tiny ears, and loving personality- we think he is the 'cat's meow'. His white markings are a connected star, strip and snip. This stallion stands a solid 15hh. He looks like a hunt or western horse and he collects himself well and has a near perfect, natural headset.

We are purchasing "SAM" from Elyse Henault in Warren, MA, and he will arrive at SFG Morgans sometime in December 2007. Thank-you Elyse! He is a bay/brown, very handsome, and has very historical Morgan horses behind him. We hope to eventually breed him to our full Lippitt mares and start breeding foals who are pure Lippitt in breeding, as we believe it is extremely important to the Morgan breed to keep this family of horses from going extinct, as there are so few of them alive today. Our full Lippitt bred mares are Maple Grove Misty May (Baroncrest Nuggeteer x Maple Grove Melody) and Ruddells Royal Comet (Heathermoor Heritage x Motif Hill Majorette) and can be viewed on our Mare page of this website. This wonderful stallion was a great show horse excelling in English Pleasure, In-Hand, and Harness. He was so much fun to show in the Amateur classes, zooming around the ring as steady as a rock. Light My Fire won many blue ribbons but he also won many persons over to the Morgan breed with his wonderful personality and good manners. His dam was a full Lippitt mare who was one of the best mares we have owned. An outstanding sire of foals, he crossed well with many different bloodlines and types of mares. We have a few of his daughters and his last palomino son to carry on.
