RUDDELL'S ROYAL COMET (Heathermoor Heritage x Motif Hill Majorett)
1997 Black Chestnut
Full Lippitt breeding (meaning she carries the oldest and purest Morgan ancestors in the breed today) makes this black chestnut mare a nice addition to our mare band. She has a very pleasing disposition and is very well broke for the trails. We bought her this year for some family outings and fun. She is also broke to harness. We will try to breed her to a full Lippitt stallion in the coming years.

CW'S SWEET SILVER (CW's Silver Ash x CW's Silver Sundae)
2000 Gray (black base coat)
This gray Morgan mare was purchased as a yearling from Carol Guay's Crosswind Farm here in Michigan. She is a very pretty, correct young mare with a 'sweet' disposition. She should mature at about 14-3hh. There are only a handful of gray mares in the Morgan registry and we are thrilled to own this beauty.

SFG FIRE ROSE (Light My Fire x Lady Adrienne)
1985 Chestnut
A beautiful and typey chestnut Morgan mare that is a wonderful riding horse and is enjoyed by her owner, my sister-in-law, Rita Riggs and all of us here at the farm where she resides. She is one of our first foals and is a perfect example of our breeding program here at Sunshine Farm. Rose loves to pose for pictures-even in our flower patch!

This palomino Morgan mare stands 15-1hh, has a white blaze on her face and a silver mane and tail. She is ridden western and has is a very smooth ride. Becky has had 7 foals for SFG Morgans including:

2005 palomino mare, 15+hh, white star
We are adding this mare to our broodmare band as she is a very pretty palomino Morgan mare with size and style. A wonderful hunt or dressage prospect, Violet has great conformation, her feet are excellent, she has a nice topline and big, soft eyes. She floats at the trot and is a balanced mover. Truly a 'Barbie doll' horse with so much white mane, tail and forelock to brush and braid! She will be a great cross with any of our stallions in the future. Keep an eye on this girl!

SFG RAMIE (Light My Fire x Tiffin Galatea)
1990 Bay
This bay Morgan mare stands 15hh and has a star and snip on her face plus one hind coronet that is white. When Ramie was a young horse she received a hearty kick in the face which resulted in a large forehead lump and concussion. We kept her at the farm, the lump disappeared after a few years, and we haven't done much with her as far as training and showing. This is a shame because this mare is a born show horse. She has lots of knee action and is very balanced and upheaded.

1993 Palomino
She stands 15-1hh and is a big mare. Trained western and hunt, Jasmine has a floating trot and lots of drive from a powerful hindquarters. She has had two fine colts for SFG Morgans including:

1998 Palomino
This adorable palomino Morgan mare stands 14-3hh, has a blaze face and 2 hind socks, wonderful gold coloring with a white mane and tail. Lace has a really nice way of going and we expect to finish her under saddle this year. The foals she has had for SFG Morgans include:

2000 bay mare, pure lippitt breeding
Misty was purchased by SFG Morgans for fun and enjoyment on our trail rides as she is a well trained mare who loves all aspects of trail riding. My mother had tired of our breeding stock and young horses, and wished for a steady mount who knows her way around a log or through a stream of water and will not spook at cars, deer or other moving objects. She has wonderful lippitt lines and will make a great broodmare for us also. Misty stands 14-3hh, and is a lovely example of a classic Morgan mare. She jumps right in the trailer and is comfortable in all sorts of situations such as camping overnite!

SFG SWEET CICELY (Gold Cross Andi x Motif Hill Lockett)
1992 palomino mare
This lovely mare has come back in 2007 to SFG Morgans from Heathermoor Farm, Ohio, where she has been producing wonderful colorful babies over the years for the Fogel family. Cicely was purchased from us as a 3 year old, and has been with the Fogels ever since. She has been crossed with different stallions and has been a super broodmare for them, now it is our turn! Historic old bloodlines, stout of heart and body, great feet and legs, pretty ears and expression. We can't wait until next year when she foals here for us. She is bred to Fogel's pure Lippitt bay stallion - Blue Spruce Gifton (Blue Spruce Muskiteer x Blue Spruce Aurora) - for a 2008 foal.
