RUDDELL'S ROYAL COMET

(Heathermoor Heritage x Motif Hill Majorett)
Black 11 year old pure Lippitt mare. Stands 15+hh, prof. saddle trained for trail, has been on overnight trips, needs a rider with some experience as she has a motor! But---she is very smooth and comfortable to ride. Jumps in the trailer. Has been ridden lately by a young lady with much success with a hunt saddle and kimberwicke bit. She likes quiet hands and seat. Could go Class A western or open also. Comet is a gorgeous mare with her lighter brown eyes and black coat. Really catches everyones attention and a mare to be proud to own. She has a thin connected star and strip on her face. She is smarter than the average horse and can be tricky to catch out in the pasture. But she is such a peach to work with when you have her, perfect for all grooming, saddling, lunging, etc. Some of our favorite Lippitt horses are in her pedigree and she really should be bred to a full Lippitt stallion in the future. We bred her to our palomino stallion SFG Gold Snapdragon for her first foal in 09. She was good to hand breed. We bought Comet from Arkansas at age 5 and had her shipped to us. This is a mare you can really bond with and enjoy if you are as smart as she is. Also trained to drive as a young horse, but would need refreshing for that pursuit. She has a nice build with a slightly sloping croup and a strong hindquarters that gives her rider that smooth ride. We are very excited to see a foal out of her. We know it will be nice.

Rare and lovely gray mare, certainly one of the nicest gray mares in the country today. This mare has been a super producer for us and has given us a gray colt and a gray filly. The colt sold to CA as a weanling stallion prospect and her filly this year is one of our best ever! Easy to have around and keep. We bought her for more money than we are asking for her. as a WEANLING from her breeder, Carol Guay here in Michigan and less than we got for her first foal! Better snatch this mare up quickly! This mare is everyone's favorite Morgan on our website and rightfully so. She is very nice in every way. Not trained to ride but smart and willing. Sweetie stands 14-3hh and is 8 years old. She could be bred to one of our palomino stallions.

NEW! CW's Sweet Silver (gray) has been bred to SFG Gold Snapdragon (palomino) for a March 2011 foal!!!! This is a proven cross between these two fine horses - with a gray colt and a smoky black gray filly already sold from SFG Morgans as youngsters! Sweetie is a wonderful broodmare, easy to settle and a great mother to her foals. What a great opportunity to own a gorgeous gray mare in foal.

Nice bay full Lippitt bred mare that stands 15hh. Fantastic disposition, trained for trail riding, has been ridden english with a kimberwicke bit or western with a simple curb. Would like to see her ridden by someone with experience as she has a motor, but is kind enough for a beginner in lessons or on the trail. Really nice movement and extension when ridden hunt seat. Could be shown Class A Morgan shows or Open with a little ring work. Calm to work around, clips, trailers, bathes, good manners for everything. Used as a demo Morgan horse at Horse Expos to show the versatility and disposition of the breed, she has camped overnight as well on the trail and has perfect manners in any company. Great feet and legs, she is a beautiful girl. We bred her last year and she had her first colt for us in 2008 who is very handsome. Misty has been a perfect broodmare also, easy to breed and foal out. She is 7 years old. We don't really want to sell this gal but will offer her until we sell some others. Pure Lippitt breeding that needs to be preserved! This mare really needs to be bred to a Lippitt stallion in the future although we could breed her to one of our palominos if desired by a new owner.
